The Tidal Waves have been providing the Riverside area a quality swim program for over 25 years. We are a parent run organization with an elected Board of Directors who oversees the daily operation of the Swim Team.
The Swim Team is a recreational, summer team (April thru July) designed to let children of all ages and abilities compete in the sport of swimming. We are a member of the Riverside County Swim Conference and our goal is to field a competitive team while swimming every swimmer in every dual meet. Our coaches will provide conditioning and technique training to all team members. New swimmers must have a minimal ability to swim any stroke approximately half the length of a 25 yard pool. During the first three (3) weeks of practice new swimmers also must exhibit water safety, the ability to swim to the lane lines or side of the pool, and the desire to learn. If the coaching staff deems a swimmer not ready for competitive swimming registration fees will be refunded.
